Expressions in Abstraction Wall Art

I begin each of these large format paintings by texturing the surface of my wood substrate with a strong texture medium to create depth and visual drama, as the texture interplays with the paint in a dramatic way which I love. Many layers of acrylic paint are then applied over a matter of several days to build up a feeling of depth and ethereal beauty.
